My Wife and I want to thank you and your staff for the care and support we received at the Woodcliff Lake Health and Rehabilitation Facility during my recent stay.

When I first arrived, it was as a post-splenectomy patient.  I still had the staples from the surgery and was suffering from a urinary tract infection.  After a few days, I began to feel at home with the facility and the staff and that was the beginning of my recuperation period.  I can’t begin to thank the entire third floor staff for making this period quick and pleasant.

There is a feeling of home at your facility and after a while, the staff becomes family.  They are caring and helpful, just as one would expect from a family member.  Everyone who visited me in rehab commented on how pleasant a place it was and were impressed by how the staff members would go above and beyond to respond to their telephone questions.  They enjoyed hearing Clark play the piano and going to the 2nd floor porch.

We could not have been treated better and want to congratulate you and the rest of the administration on a job well done.  Long may your facility continue to perform this important service.

Sincerely yours,

Murray A.M.

I am writing this letter to express my thanks, to the entire staff for making my mom’s stay at the Woodcliff Lake Rehabilitation Center a pleasant experience.

During February and March of this year, my mom Nellie, was at your facility to get some rehabilitation and physical therapy, following her hospital stay.  The entire staff, ranging from management, administration, nursing, physical therapy, food services, aides and cleaning, were all friendly and professional.  The facility itself was very clean and the live bird display and the piano entertainment in the main area created a very relaxing atmosphere.

My mom is doing well and sends her regards to everyone.

Thank you again for all your efforts in assisting with mom’s rehabilitation and please feel free to use this letter as a testimonial to the quality of service your facility has to offer.

Sincerely,

Kevin J.C.

Dear Mr. Friedman,

We are writing to you to commend and express our appreciation for your staff.  Specifically, Physical Therapy and Nursing staff.

We have had more contact with some of these people than others, but all of them have been so helpful to us during this initially traumatic stage in our lives and in Mom’s life.

Of course, they are professionals, but they are also very caring, kind and gracious and they all have a lovely, open manner.  No matter how many times we have asked, probably, the “same question” or expressed concerns, they have always given us the attention we needed; have taken action, and have followed through where necessary, even to the degree of involving another member of your team to accomplish a goal.

In addition to our happiness with these pros, Mom has often mentioned her good – sometimes wonderful – experiences with these staff members and/or their programs.

We could go on and on…

Wishing you continued success, and please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Mary and Richard D.

Dear Mr. Friedman,

My mother, Frances, was recently a resident at Woodcliff Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center.  During her two-week stay I was impressed with the level of care she received.  Over the past two years I have dealt with several other facilities and found yours very favorable.

Admissions took the time on a Friday evening to explain the paperwork involved with admissions and make us feel welcome.  Since we were not expecting a discharge from the hospital until after the weekend and since yours was not one of the facilities we were expecting to be at, it was a relief to be met by a nursing staff and aides that were very helpful in settling my mother in.

The physical therapy has definitely improved her walking and I have continued to use your staff’s suggestions since she has returned to her home.  While physical therapy was the reason for her being there, the recreational activities proved to be a definite plus in her care.  The staff provided a good mix of activities and were able to involve my mother in more activities than she had been involved in for quite some time in her present living situation.

Social Services assisted in obtaining a visiting nurse and has contacted us to confirm that the service was being provided.

Because of the recreation department and the helpfulness of the staff I would certainly consider Woodcliff Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center as a possible home for my mother should she require that level of care in the future.

Sincerely,

Patricia A. H.

I wanted to thank you and the staff for caring for my mother.  My first contact with Woodcliff Lake was made with the Admissions Department.  Whatever commitments you made were lived up to 100%.  Whenever anything needed to be accomplished, it was performed in a timely and efficient manor.

The rehabilitation staff, nursing staff and the activities staff treated my mother with dignity and respect.  I do not want to start mentioning names because I am sure that I would forget to name at least one of the staff who I am indebted to for caring for my mother. She received excellent care, and I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank the entire staff.  Virtually all of the staff treated my mother with the same care that they would treat their own parents.

Thank you again and best wishes to all.
Very truly yours,

Raymond C.

Murray and [I] want to thank all of you for the excellent care he received at the Woodcliff Lake Health and Rehabilitation facility.  Your concern for his welfare and your professionalism were above and beyond our expectations.  We are most appreciative of his treatment and now that we are going home, we feel that we are leaving family.

His continuing recovery will be as a result of what you all did for him these past five weeks.

We can’t thank you enough for being there for us…

Sincerely,

G. and M. M.

We wish to thank you personally and your entire staff for the fantastic Elegant Dining Day we experienced.  To think we dined with such service, gourmet food, table settings and room decorations all accompanied by delightful live music.  Woodcliff Lake H&R was transformed into a true home with wonderful experiences for the residents and their families.

Complimenting your staff must include special notice to the hosting by wonderful people who interact daily with the residents.  We know many by first names and were just overwhelmed by them doing such a great a job of catering to us and all the tables of guests and residents.  Service with a smile is just so welcoming.

The kitchen staff needs to take a bow for preparing all that food at the same time.  Not just plain old food but gourmet dishes.  The salad was the best I have ever eaten.  Guests at neighboring tables also voiced the same opinion.  The surf and turf was a surprise to get and excellent to eat.  Since Helen does not eat shellfish Jack was lucky to have two lobster tails to dine on.  I think we all had double desserts each.

Isabelle put together a 5 star dining experience for all of us and gets a special job well done and appreciated thanks.

Sincerely and with thanks from Helen and her daughter and son in law,

Eileen and Jack
