Woodcliff Lake Health and Rehabilitation is designed to maximize the comfort and independence of our clients. Our accommodations include both private and semi-private rooms with cheerful décor, individual climate controls, personal restrooms, phones and cable television.
Our living room is elegantly appointed with a grand piano for special concerts and a cozy fireplace where our clients can curl up with a good book from our well-rounded library. A colorful and stimulating aviary for our clients’ enjoyment graces one wall. Nearby is the Recreation Room, with our
large screen TV and video library. Our clients’ enjoy relaxed socialization and independent respite in our pleasant community setting so while recovering they feel like they are in a home away from home. And our spacious gardens and patios provide for the appreciation of nature.
While dining in our gracious dining room our clients are treated to expertly prepared fresh, nutritious and delicious meals prepared by our accomplished chef, under the supervision of our Registered Dietician. Individual health care needs and food preferences are always taken into account. An array of delightful snacks are available
throughout the day.
Our therapeutic recreation program is coordinated by our Certified Activity Coordinator and is designed to stimulate healthy living, including physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual needs. Our specialists design activity programs that are tailored to individual interests and abilities. Included in our recreation and social activity program are a cooking club, an arts’ program, music and concerts, monthly birthday parties, and outdoor summer barbecues to name a few. We also provide a pet therapy program and a
Resident Council. And, for those clients’ that are interested there are monthly outings. Clergy visits and services for all faiths are also arranged.
For our rehabilitation clients, we’ve recently renovated a state of the art sub-acute rehabilitation unit. This spa-like environment includes private and semi-private rooms with individual flat screen TVs, localized wireless internet service, and a fully appointed computer workstation for
the technologically inclined. Our beautiful lounge is the perfect place to relax after the rigors of our individualized therapy sessions. Luxurious seating centered around a charming fireplace provides a beautiful setting for socialization or to relax with a good book from our private library. Individual access to beverages and snack is available 24 hours a day.
Other special amenities we offer include full-service beauty and barber services and weekly manicures for our clients, activities for the visually impaired, and newspaper delivery.
